Experts in Georgia Corporation Publishing
Upon being established, the State of Georgia requires all domestic corporations (profit and non-profit) to publish a “notice of intent to incorporate” in the county where the registered office for your business is located. This notice must be published in an official newspaper or a newspaper of general circulation, where at least sixty percent of the subscriptions are paid for. This is generally done no later than the next business day after filing your articles. These requirements do not apply to corporations which have been filed in another state and a requesting to do business in Georgia. Georgia also requires changes to articles (amendments) as well as corporate dissolutions and trade names (doing business as) filings to be published.
