What are the publication requirements for an Arizona business?
All foreign and domestic Arizona corporations and LLC’s must complete the publishing requirement. These new business entities must publish within 60 days of the business formation.
The publishing ad must run in three consecutive publications in a newspaper of general circulation in the county of the place of business.
After the publications are run, the newspaper will send you affidavits of publication. Although it used to be a requirement, it is no longer necessary to file your affidavit with the Arizona Corporation Commission. However, you can choose to do so if you wish.
Additionally, Amendments, Dissolutions and Withdrawals also must fulfill the publication requirement. The penalty for not fulfilling these requirements could result in the dissolution of the business.
